Think Small—Small Data That Is
Timely, insightful, and actionable data at the Point-of-Living
At VIZI we believe “small” is the new “big.”
Much has been said about the value of “Big Data.” While having the ability to mine large amounts of information and look at processes and trends from a “forty thousand foot level” can be extremely valuable, operationalizing those nuggets doesn’t prove to be easy, effective or timely.
“Small Data” occurs at the individual patient level as they journey from the hospital back to a home care setting—the “last mile” of care. In other words, data that occurs at the Point-of-Living (PoL).
We are confident that this approach will offer solutions to major challenges facing our healthcare system, particularly as we transition to outcomes-based reimbursement models, and as we collectively redefine what it means to be healthy.
These individual, real-time snap shots of longitudinal patient experience aren’t being captured by EHRs, let alone claims data, and remain out of the reach of payers and providers alike. Until now.
